Even if you do not yet own a GPS, or if you just want to plan your route ahead of time, amAze allows you to run a simulation mode. Just define your start point and destination and select the demo mode. amAze will run a simulation showing your progress on the map or arrows and you can even setup the simulation driving speed. |
Download via your phone browser
| Just type the following WAP address in your mobile phone browser: wap.amazegps.com and follow the downloading instructions on the screen. Once the download is completed, exit your mobile browser and open the application (typically the application is saved under the ‘applications’ menu on your phone).
Note for Blackberry users: Please write down the user name and password submitted to you on this WAP site. You’ll be asked to insert them on the first time you open the application (required only once). |

This GPS system is for all of those who want only a navigation system and none of the fancy add-on features, like bluetooth. Sometimes it can take a little time to locate the satellites, but overall, it’s a great system. Gives accurate directions with easy to understand prompts of what to do next. For example, if you just turned onto a road, the GPS will say “Turn left on Elm St in 5.6 miles.” You then automatically know which lane you will need to be in well in advance. Get one today and you’ll never know how you lived without it.
Just to let everyone know that Amaze 5.0 is no longer free, its very cheap though.
