Nov 28 2008 Finally Cheaper SMS Abroad Posted by: Phat^Trance in Uncategorized Just in time for next summer holiday, the EU is introducing a “max price” for what it cost to send sms abroad. Telecoms ministers from EU countries agreed today to a maximum price for sending an SMS message from another EU country will be 11 cents. Today, the average SMS message cost about 29 cents.
