Symbian Application: Jbak TaskMan Updated To v0.99 R16
Posted by: Phat^Trance in Uncategorized
The Symbian task manager, JBAK Taskman has been updated to version v0.99 R16 and here is the changelist:
- The fall during the installation / reinstall some programs
- Changing the size of icons in dop.nastroykah to normal take place without rebooting. By the way, recommend to reduce the icons — saves memory and speed up the launch.
- Do not place discharge processes. no windows System (purification of memory / unloading at startup).
- The “unload exit in the background” now does not work for contacts, if it was caused by a phonebook SIM
- Adding phones. Now have to work all 3 options — ordinary telephone, ussd (type * 100 #) and engineering codes (like * # 06 #)
- Can properly maintained and SMS e-mail
- Type ficha. If the initial text for SMS / e-mail to impose $ clip – this expression to be replaced with content Clipboard (the text can be more)
- It is possible to 9.1 with no vyletaet the entrance of the processes / streams (but not I am sure)

so… anyone else have no luck at all signing this at symbiansigned online?
i’ve been a handy taskman guy for a long time now, and just installed my first version of jbak taskman — the latest versions have a specific feature that sounds interesting to me – and this feature isn’t in the latest signed version (or i can’t find it): Memory clean.
does this do what i expect it to? reclaim RAM such that i don’t have to reboot just because i HAPPENED to load the camera app by mistake a moment ago? it kills me, my N95-1 is still so RAM startved, even with v30 firmware. i have to choose between having Nokia Email installed, or being able to launch Nokia Maps.
currently, when i want to drive somewhere, i have to: reboot my phone, manually exit my background tools (flip silent, shake sms, step counter), launch nokia maps, pray. if i DARE open, say Music Player, i’ll have to reboot to reclaim the RAM even after exiting Music Player.
clean boot: ~29MB RAM
reboot with background apps: ~19MB RAM
reboot, then exit background apps: ~21MB
reboot, exit background apps, launch Music Player, exit Music player: ~15MB
the 15MB mark – thats the threshold of failure on my N95-1. if i try to run Nokia Maps with less than 15MB free at launch i can reliably predict failure (run Nokia Maps, not just launch; i.e. search for a destination, select Drive, and let the route begin — Maps will exit due to out of memory condition by the first voice prompt 90% of the time)
it’s sad. i hope jbak taskman, when i’m able to try the latest version, can help with this.

Try this mod, it will hack your n95 so that you can install unsigned applications on your phone
