the thing with that mod is that it resets itself after you reboot the phone, sometime it stays and sometimes youll need to do i all over again :)

So I'm thinking that it's because I have an older firmware version the fix doesn't stay fixed. So now I reinstalled the application and will leave it on the phone to see what happens. It's still nice to have that menu icon gone! Fight the power! Ra Ra!
