v30.0.018 firmware for Nokia N95 8GB is now available on NSU

Now is the time for nokia n95 8gb to get a new firmware. The v30.0.018 firmware can be downloaded from NSU. Be careful to update to this firmware if you have hacked your phone or using the TRK mod to sign your unsigned files. Nokia has probably done so that you can not install the unsigned files with the TRK mod as they did it with the v30 firmware on Nokia N95 classic
New in v30.0.018:
- Nokia Maps 2.0 now built-in
- Full N-Gage client now built-in
- Nokia Search 4.0 now with Google plug-in
- Share online 3.0
- Enablers for Comes With Music (watch this space)
- Download! application updated (v 3.1.50)
- Upgrade to Music Player
- Update for Flash Lite 3 (improved viewing of sites like YouTube)
- Current consumption improvements (for e.g. WLAN scanning)
- New baseline for VoIP (with significant error corrections)

Hi, why does my NSU can’t search for new firmware only 20.0.016
maybe you have the wrong product code on your n958gb?
I have the same prob, my NSU doesn’t detect a new firmware, still 20.0.016, I have an N95-2 (RM-320)
The firmware release happens by region. You region will have the update available soon enough. I think last time it took 1 month for it to reach North America.
Its only for europe… yet atleast…:D

I updated my nokia N95 8GB with the new firmware. What I have noticed is that using HelloCarbide in combination with X-plore is opening up the system folders. Otherwise use the free file explorer "ActiveFile (manufacture version)" which gives access to all the system and private folders.
Hope this note may help the forum people
