Here are my iPhone 3g pictures that I promised that I would put up on my blog a few days ago. I must say that this phone is clearly the worst I have ever used and I sold it after only 2 days.
The 5 things that disturb me the most on iphone is:
- Cannot send or receive MMS
- You can not forward SMS
- Cannot copy and past texts
- Very poor 3G coverage. The coverage indicator shows max “2″ compared with my N95 and N78, which always shows full coverage
- you cannot receive calls when you surf on the GSM network (via EDGE). The calls were sent to voice mail. And this is on a phone that’s made to be “connected” to the Internet all the time. What a joke!

i couldnt write down the whole list, its to much to write all the negative sides of the iphone
I totally agree with you. Hope this hype calms down and people come to their senses. WM and S60 are so much better platforms for phones.

Constructive critic is great. But this is plain stupid.
Basicly everything you say is a load of bull:
You want it to be bad, because of yor mindset, so you completly disregard what it does great.
Judging from the S60 nerdery going on here, and the bluetooth file transfer stuff which only frigging nerds could be whining about on a PHONE which you can send files via internet ALL THE TIME.
Really disappointing post. Bah.
Let me tell you: I’ve worked for Vodafone Labs: Cell Phone Beta testing and evaluation. We worked with the engineers to improve the phones, before Vodafone would sell them along with their contracts:
The iPhone is the best thing that could happen to consumers.
The WinMo and Symbian – and Android – UIs we see until today are basicly frigging STONEAGE.
Do you know how much we engineers hate the Nokia Symbian Cellis?
Of course Nokia pleases Nerds, which get off from tech spec lists instead of the real thing as a whole. A device which interacts with humans can not be a spec list.
And not any of you takes into regard that Apple is NEW to phones and that their Phone STILL crashes any other phone on the market in usability research results.
And for all the bugs: Nobody makes it as easy and automated to update the phone with out a hassle, and even without even having to know what’s going on.
And name me one other Cell Company that pumps out updates and reacts to bugs and demands as fast as Apple does.
Really, stop the fanboy, troll, hating shit and be objective.
You can’t criticize what Apple just solves in a different way:
- MMS is EMAIL! And charging for MMS is ripping you of for small Email-Messages.
- Why FM radio if you can listen to digital internet radio and even have a Last FM client for free?
- No bluetooth Audio? Really, calm down.
- No Bluetooth filetransfer? FOR WHAT? Just send it via Email!!!! More secure anyway, than exposing your phone file system via Bluetooth.
- No calls while on EDGE? As critic for the 3G? Are you frigging kidding? So the crappy N95 doesn’t block the calls, when you have to fall back to 2G, like every phone has to, because it’s technicly impossible to 2G Data and Call at the same time. Jesus Christ …
- Copy and Paste: Ok, the only valid critc. And Apple is working on it and your phone will be AUTOMATICLY updated, without a hassle.
People, get a head. I can not believe your hating and stubborness.
The user experience is without a match.
Instead of spitting poison you should push the other Manufacturers to learn from the things the iPhone, which isn’t perfect yet, does very, very right.
