N82 is best bcs it makes good facus and good Exposure.Look 3rd Pic(street)zoom this pic ture see the edges of hat bulding its out of focus and over explose.and look at the sky you cannot see ant clouds bcs k850 has poor light balance.n82 has machanical shutter (look at the lence it like your eye automaticly it close when you elplose lence in to light)n82 it best because its not only camera phone but also Highend smart phone

Nokia is getting fucked and prime my w960 kicks nokia’s ass bcoz it got 9.5 symbian os plus 3.3 uiq symbian and got camere with 3.2 and a xenon plus zoom is x16 so ur opinion to my phone is blah blah blah sony is better and perfect nokia is blah conecting dumbass ppl wich is u prime haha

We all knw that sony is perfect and nokia don’t have a chance to get pic. As good as sony and these pic upward is cheating my phone is k850 and the pic u have taken when the setting of cam was activated to low resolution hey u pinky wat wrong with u red going to pink thats in ur dream hahahahaha nokia get fucked by sonyericsson anyway k850 is the best N82 is the worst

being n82 the samrtest of all Nseries…i doesn’t takr a sec to realize its functionality…
I’ not talkin’ about da camera dpt. ONLY….n82 kicks ass k850i no doubt about dat…I can tell u this simply bcoz…i’ve tried them both (a fairly long time !)

LISTEN ppl >>>>>>>>> Nseries is unbeatable boz of SYMBIAN OS and its unlimited feature potentiality !!!! adn dnt 4get its got 128 RAM (90+ after reboot) which NO OTHER Nseries failed to live with………..

i totally “to the power of infinity” agree with “full stop”.all the reasons he/she gave has good points about these two phones,all of it to me…N82 and K850i are not the suitable phones to be compared,EXCEPT THE CAMERA. the features of these two phones is far too different…if wanna compare , do it with other phones that have almost the same features in overall. anyway, let me sit on the fence,for now i support neither N82 nor K850i,because if i support one of these phones, the other party will condemn and criticise me like nobody’s business. i wanna make both party satisfied. okay now, for the camera, i won’t compare,i let you all compare. they are almost the same, by the way. if you feel that N82’s camera is better, buy it ,or K850i’s camera is better, Buy it. make your own decision because that’s the phone you’re gonna use. but i still must make my stand, ie N82’s camera is more or less better.no offence man.

And now , for the overall for all aspects of the these two phones, frankly speaking, NOKIA N82 has a better overall performance.for example, it can support most formats,has 3.5mm jack(which is very convenient),auto-rotate,3.5G,tv output,GPS,WIFI and High quality video recording etc and most people use these features a lot in their daily work. we can get lots and lots of infomations from the free internet via wifi,if we use it wisely. and for the video, people can use it to look up for their mistakes in sports when recording video, ie. tennis, and badminton ,for example. no offence. but as i have just said, if you like any one of them, go ahead and buy it. to be ridiculous, buy both for your own satisfaction but seldom people do that… good dabate anyway..i love it!muahzzz…

I must add my input in this debate, however old it is. K850i and the N82, comparing them are like comparing apples and oranges. N82 is a phone with wifi, smartphone capabilities, high quality video recording, therefore it can be described as a multimedia smartphone. K850i is primarily a cameraphone, without some of the features of n82. Some people do not need those features anyway, and since k850i is cheaper than n82, why spend the extra money for features you don’t need? K850i and N82 are totally different phones to compare. N82 is not better than K850i, and K850i is not better than N82
What they have in common is their canera, which is the whole point of the article.

Well no bias here, but I honestly feel that the n82 is definitely superior in terms of colours. k850i’s colours are slightly washed out, and very slightly blueish, but that can be easily corrected with simple graphic editing. n82’s are more pleasing. Detail levels are similar. N82 has a brighter flash, as seen from the comparison, while the k850i makes up for that with another led flash that works well for video recording and situations when the xenon flash would overexpose the entire image. Also a brighter flash = higher power consumption, which can take a toll on a phone’s battery, which would be used for phonecalls, smsing, music, besides the camera.

IMO, the n82 has the better camera image quality overall, but the k850i camera has its own advantages, such as lower power consumption from the flash, and features such as bestpic.
